This bustling community hub comprises of many helpful amenities such as banks, a post office, dental practices, solicitors and so on. The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside scenery, has a river-side walk and a canal flowing through.

As well as a regular weekly marketing it is host to a number of annual festivals including the Victorian Christmas Market in December.
