TV & THE MEDIA

The Parks due to their excellent reputation have had numerous magazine and newspaper articles written about them. They have also appeared on BBC Breakfast and more recently on Channel 5.

Shortly after the first homes were sited on Acresfield Park Michael Ward along with one of the homeowners were interviewed on BBC Breakfast explaining the advantages of park home living particularly for those who are retired.

More recently Wyre Vale Park and the adjoining Acresfield Park were chosen to be part of a Channel 5 documentary highlighting the very best of the area. The production team filmed the arrival of the largest residential park home to date to be sited on a residential park in the North West. The Prestige Grand Symphony measured some 1,320 square feet and was carefully manoeuvred into place on Acresfield Park.

The film crew also took the opportunity to interview homeowners about life on a residential park. They focused on Sandra who lives on Acresfield. Sandra and her husband Gordon had moved onto Acresfield some 18 months earlier. The couple had meticulously designed their magnificent new home supported by the team at Prestige and Homeseeker. Sadly Gordon became ill and passed away just a few months before the filming commenced. The programme showed homeowners rallying around to support Sandra and this perfectly depicted what park home living is all about – the strong sense of community which exists on the Parks.
