Alex is the youngest member of the Ward family.  Having left school at 16 he embarked on an apprenticeship course in horticulture at Myerscough College after which he spent a number of years working with the maintenance and development team.  Although he didn’t feel particularly academic, Alex was presented with the opportunity to enrol on a degree course in Park Management at Bournemouth University which he took and has never looked back since.

He excelled on the course, which he completed attaining a distinction and in November 2022 attended his degree ceremony at Bournemouth University.

Alex has also been appointed Vice Chairman of the North West Branch of the British Holiday and Home Parks Association.
