In 2021 work commenced on the development of the extension to Acresfield Park known as “The Meadow”.  Close to the pond area there was a small copse of trees and in planning the new extension we decided that we wished to retain those trees as they were a beautiful feature which enhanced the park.  Unfortunately, our tree surgeons pronounced that the majority of those trees would have to be felled as they had ash dieback and would within a short period of time become a danger.   Reluctantly we gave the go ahead for the work to be carried out.  It was at this point that one of our team suggested that perhaps we should commission local wood sculptors to create a feature depicting wildlife which regularly visit the park – squirrels, owls,  etc. Two local woodcraftsmen spent many hours transforming this area.  Our homeowners will now be able to enjoy this area for many years to come.

Improvements have been completed to the communal area on the Park. It has been extended, additional seating added and more wildflower areas have been planted. A new wildlife sculpture park is also in this area. This is a beautiful spot where our homeowners can come to walk around or simply sit to enjoy their surroundings. The photographs tell the story.
