Congratulations to Alex
Alex Ward recently completed the Foundation Degree Course in Park Management at Bournemouth University and was awarded a Distinction.
This course is specifically designed to cover the management and operation of both residential and holiday parks and attracts students from all parts of the country. In addition to the dgree he was honoured with the Distinguished Student Award for 2021 – 2022.
The Graduation Ceremony took place at the Bournemouth International Conference Centre on Tuesday 8th November 2022 with a further ceremony.
When Alex left school he enrolled on a two year Higher National Diploma course in horticulture at Myerscough College following which he joined our maintenance and development team. During the pandemic our Park Manager at Merlewood became seriously ill with Covid and Alex stepped in to manage the holiday park. Since then he has taken on a managerial role over all of the Residential Parks and the leisure club and is a popular member of our team.
